A Long Sault Travel Clinic consultation helps you identify and analyze health risks for your trip. Based on your health history and itinerary, our pharmacist determines the vaccinations and precautionary measures you need.

At your appointment, our travel experts evaluate your risks and provide recommendations based on your trip and health status. We recommend medication and administer any vaccine(s) on site when appropriate. A comprehensive medication assessment is conducted if needed. By the end of your evaluation, we answer related questions and concerns and provide helpful travel information so you can have a healthy and safe trip.

A Long Sault Travel Clinic consultation takes approximately 30–60 minutes for individuals, 60–90 minutes for groups of 3–4, and 60 minutes or more for larger groups. Please allow enough time for a proper assessment and to ask questions.

Travel consultation is provided by pharmacists with extensive training so enough time and resources are available for a proper consultation and immunization based on your needs. Long Sault Travel Clinic is also a designated yellow fever vaccination centre.

Long Sault Travel Clinic accepts credit cards, cash, and cheques. Our staff will assist you in submitting insurance claims if you have direct-billing drug insurance coverage. Please present your drug benefit cards and Ontario Health Card at your appointment.

The consultation fee is not covered by provincial health care and is charged directly to the patient. Some medications and vaccines are covered by the province and private drug benefit plans. Check with your benefit company for coverage details.

Book a travel consultation

Whether you need yellow fever vaccination or a preventative illness consult, book at least 6 weeks before departure when possible. The consult can be done in person, by phone, or online. Some vaccines need more than one dose and time to become effective. If you are travelling soon, our pharmacist may suggest advice and alternatives to help minimize travel health risks.

Preparing for your consultation

For a group, only one person needs to register and only one appointment is required. Each individual must complete a pre-appointment form. You do not need separate appointments for each person.

Verify the email address you provided and check your spam folder for the confirmation email.

Double-check the information you entered. If the issue persists, contact your card provider to find out why the payment is not processing.

If you entered an incorrect email address, your appointment is still confirmed, but our system will not send booking details by email. Complete the pre-appointment forms with the correct information, attend as scheduled, and mention any name or email errors to the pharmacist at arrival. Your appointment is only valid at the location you booked; files are tied to that site, so the Long Sault and Ingleside locations are not interchangeable. Confirm whether you booked with Bryan Haley at Long Sault or David Mancini at Ingleside. Before arriving, complete and submit the online pre-appointment questionnaire from our website. Long Sault appointments are at Pharmasave Long Sault, 43 Long Sault Dr; Ingleside appointments are at Ingleside Pharmacy, 3 Thorold Ln. Check your booking receipt for location details and your spam folder for messages. For Long Sault appointments with Bryan Haley, call (613) 534-3777 (Option 5); services there are offered in English and French. For Ingleside appointments with David Mancini, call 613-537-2477 (Option 1); services at Ingleside are provided exclusively in English.

Only confirmed appointments can be accommodated. If you completed a pre-appointment form without booking a travel consultation, we cannot proceed with that visit. Appointments are verified on arrival; without a confirmed booking you may need to schedule another day.
